Long Time, No Post

Kara here -- attempting to fill in for Don and give a brief update on our family. It is has been very busy here the last few weeks. Don has been working extra hours on a new project of sorts. He is a "Census Man." So far, he seems to enjoy this new adventure. The people have been nice and to date, has only been bitten by one dog. Well, his pants were bitten, not him. Thank goodness!

I have also been keeping busy this month teaching others about Lyme Disease. I think the one thing I'd like my family and friends to understand about lyme and tick borne infections is they are real. They can change a person's life almost overnight. It could just as easily happen to you as it did me. Everyone is at risk. Visit LearnAboutLyme.com and California Lyme Disease Association to learn about Lyme today.

Anna had a band competition about two weeks ago. They got all 1's and runner-up to "Best in Class." Then, yesterday she performed a solo at the Solo and Ensemble Competition and received a '1' out of possible ranks of 1+, 1, 2 and 3. We are so proud of her. She did a fabulous job!

Here's a picture of her all dressed up in her band uniform tux holding Lillie. She just had to give her piggie some love!

Alyssa managed to catch a bad spring cold of sorts and is still coughing and sneezing. She was already having a tough go of it with the spring pollens. Even with her being a bit under the weather, she's still managed to keep up with her usual antics like making off with the camera.

Until next time . . . have a great week!

MY hubby is doing Census this week too. Busy busy.

I am planning a LYME disease post this week. Wow. I have met some other youtubers who have vlogged about their disease. I had no idea of the suffering...

Wow.
We need to be more aware for sure. Protect the kids.
Hope you have a good week!

Kara- I'm glad you found my blog! I'm so sorry to hear about everyone in your family really having Lyme, at least they are doing okay :) Actually we are going to be heading to Orlando once my school gets out to head to a Lyme Specialist. The doctor I'm at now is kind of scared to treat me, i'm sure you know how controversial the disease is.

No I don't have a facebook, if I did I would be your friend too. But I don't have one, i'm not allowed right now. I hope you are feeling good today!

Kara- My mom said she will definitely email you about the doctors. We need to find a good one.

I am SOOO sorry to hear about you and your daughters. Tell them I know their pain, and they are not alone.

I would like to be friends with your daughter, I am 14 years old so we are close! Tell her I hope she is feeling good, and she (both of them) is in my prayers.

You're from North Carolina right? Are you in the Raliegh area? We are. Okay my mom is going to email you.

And yes, take a look at my blog. And you guys are in my prayers!!
